For more than 45 years, Rich has been a business negotiator, as well as a licensed attorney and CPA in Illinois. Because Rich is licensed as an attorney only in Illinois, he does not act as a client’s attorney when he negotiates business transactions throughout the United States and internationally. He does not replace a client’s attorney.

Clients have included billionaires, Fortune 500 CEOs, senior partners from the largest law firms and CPA firms in the world, small business owners, entrepreneurs, sales professionals, and super-star Grammy Award winners from different musical genres who have quoted Rich in their autobiographies.

Rich has been a successful entrepreneur starting, buying, operating, and selling businesses. He understands business, numbers, and the dynamics of the complete negotiation process.

He is a graduate of the University of Illinois School of Accountancy, Urbana, and the University of Chicago Law School. He practiced as a tax and corporate attorney with Mayer Brown, then the largest law firm in Chicago and today one of the 25 largest law firms in the world. During his career, he has been quoted more than 50 times in national publications and has appeared as a guest expert on more than 150 television and radio programs.
